Some thoughts.
Some thoughts.

Was communicating w/ a friend, a good friend met while volunteering abroad couple years ago, I wrote something, that, I think it's worthwhile to keep a note for myself as well:
---
well, this world is full of surprises, good or
bad, that shock us one way or another, the more we learn about things,
is the way to shape who we wish to become. hopefully, people can realize
what more they can, and needs to do, to create a better society, for
those less fortunate than average. It's extremely difficult, but
compassion is a heartbreaking, life learning process, especially to view
things from different angles.
It's a
depressing world, no doubt, as long as people are doing the impossible,
there's hope... Just not as fast as we wish for, but at least those
stubborn people are trying to save the world, we should be grateful
for their effort.
For those in power to
abusing others, in whatever way, I think, they are the one who's lacking
essence of life, thus authority, or wealth, or power, are the only
thing they think they can hold on to, it's a sickness imbedded in them.
Sadly, those individuals are growing... Perhaps it's the way education
failed the society, or pop culture pollutes us all. Time will find a
way to breakout the issue for the world to face it, like Ebola... Can't
ignore it.
As for Ebola, I felt so sorry for
West Africa, proud of MSF & medical personnels/volunteers went
there to aid, they gave their best to contain the outbreak, the world
should give more attention in solving this problem instead of blame
those got ill. Some in the States are trying to pin it as racial bias,
or lack of training on nurses; CDC didn't give out full details on how
to inspect or care for it, how much can medical care system know
anything about it?? If this does spread in U.S., it's going to be very
political.... Sad part is, Ebola is known for many months, and the
world still treat it as third world problem... Let's hope it won't go
widespread...
People only start to feel for
others once they share the pain, so, I'm not sure if those pain is
needed for a better world or not, but I know life will always provide
certain level of joys for those who cares... ;)
